A Message from Our Founder
I didn’t enter the cleaning industry in 1996 just to run a business; I entered it to solve a problem. Back then, I saw a New York market flooded with “splash and dash” cleaners using harsh chemicals that did more harm than good. I spent my early years on the trucks, learning the molecular science of fibers and the physics of steam.
Today, as the CEO of NYC Steam Cleaning, my mission is to provide every New Yorker with a “Safe Home” environment. My philosophy is simple: If I wouldn’t let my own children crawl on that carpet, I won’t use those products in your home.
My Technical Philosophy: Science Over Chemicals
In 2008, I made the executive decision to pivot my entire operation to a 100% non-toxic, soap-free, and organic cleaning process. Most people don’t realize that standard detergents leave a sticky residue (surfactants) that actually attracts dirt back to your carpet.
I have engineered a different approach:
Thermal Sanitization: We use truck-mounted systems that reach temperatures over 200°F. This isn’t just cleaning; it’s high-heat sanitization that kills 99.9% of bacteria without toxic bleach.
Hospital-Grade Protocols: My expertise in disinfection has been featured in Fortune and Radio World. I personally oversee the implementation of EPA-approved solutions like Noroxycdiff and advanced Electrostatic Spraying to ensure your air and surfaces are pathogen-free.
Sustainable Logistics: To protect the city I love, I am currently transitioning our service fleet to Ford E-Transit electric vehicles. We are cleaning your home while keeping NYC’s air cleaner, too.
